flyLAL Training, the largest training center for Lithuanian pilots and cabin attendants, has received the TRTO (Type Rating Training) certificate issued by the Lithuanian Civil Aviation Administration confirming the right to perform the qualifying trainings not for two, as it was previously, but for six types of aircrafts. Thus far, the flyLAL Training has worked in the possession of the TRTO certificate, which granted the right to carry out the qualifying trainings for the Boeing 737-300/-400/-500 and Saab 2000 aircraft types, and now the qualifying trainings for these and four more aircraft types – Boeing 757, Boeing 767, ATR-42, ATR-72 will be organized. According to the chief of the flyLAL Training, UAB, the new TRTO certificate allows the company to carry out the strategy for the development successfully, by suggesting the Lithuanian and foreign pilots and cabin attendants qualifying trainings for four additional aircraft types. The received certificate has reaffirmed that the training base of the flyLAL Training meets the international requirements and is expanding the range of the provided services constantly.
